We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information in relation to our customer match service for Google Ads.

What is a Customer Match?

Customer match is a feature offered by Google Ads that allows us to upload a list of our customers’ email addresses to Google. Google will then match these email addresses to Google users who have the same email addresses associated with their Google accounts. This enables us to target ads to our customers or similar audiences across Google properties.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect the email addresses of our customers who have agreed to receive marketing communications from us. We also collect information about how customers interact with our marketing emails, such as whether they open or click on them.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the email addresses and interaction data we collect to create a list of customers for customer match on Google Ads. This allows us to show our customers and similar audiences relevant ads across Google properties.

Do We Share Your Information?

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except for Google, for the purpose of customer match.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption and secure storage methods to protect your information.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information that we hold. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information for customer match. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@botanysouthdental.co.nz
