I received my dental degree from the University of Otago in 2003 and worked in Wellington for a couple of years before I made my move to Auckland. I’ve been serving East/South Auckland being a principal dentist at Botany South Dental ever since for almost 20 years now. I live locally and know my neighbourhood in and out and it is delightful when I often run into familiar faces when I am out and about. This is my home and dentistry has been my passion all my life. I understand seeing a dentist can be daunting. Many of us developed dental trauma from having to go through uncomfortable procedures with little or no assurance when we were young. It has always been my mission to provide an experience that could overturn the bad memories and very often, it is what I am being complimented for by many of my clients. I am extremely proud of my small team of champions here at Botany South Dental and what their work ethics stand for. I have no doubt that we will always do our best to look after your dental needs.
Hi, my name is Hailee. I grew up in Rotorua and Auckland. I trained in Otago, graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Oral Health. I take pride in my honesty, conscientiousness, and my aim to provide gentle treatment. As an Oral Health Therapist, I have two roles at Botany South Dental. One is to treat gum disease and to support our clients to maintain excellent gum health. The other is to assess and maintain the oral health of adolescents in our community.
Outside dentistry, I enjoy finding new hobbies but my favourite will always be trying new restaurants.
I am originally from Hong Kong and have spent my youth in NZ. After a short stint in AUS, now I call NZ home for good. I had over 15+ years of customer service experience working for international companies in Hong Kong, Sydney and New Zealand. It brings me immense joy interacting with people from all around the world. It is my privilege to be able to speak multiple languages including English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I would like to help many nervous customers feel at ease when I could communicate with them in their mother tongue. My role here in Botany South Dental involves front desk management and patient coordination and my favourite part of the job is seeing a lot of happy faces after their treatments. I feel truly lucky to have joined this amazing team.
My favourite activities are watching K-dramas and baking. I also love playing with dogs. I used to have a dog and his name was Popeye but unfortunately he passed away many years ago. Now I am playing with my parents’ dog named Simba. He is an active doggie and always wants attention.
If you are looking for a dental clinic in Auckland, please feel free to come and visit us. Our lovely team will be more than happy to provide you with excellent and professional dental services.
Hi. My name is Mary. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I’m a graduate of Medical Technology. Currently, I work as a Dental Assistant, which I’m really enjoying as it allows me to explore a different field. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and am a certified food lover. I also love cooking a variety of dishes. Lastly, I have a deep passion for dogs because their playful and affectionate nature brings me so much happiness.
At Botany South Dental, our commitment is to care for you and your family’s oral health, ensuring you can smile with comfort and confidence.
